you may not

call me a whore

even in play

raw

the feeling of my rage

i never told you

what not to say

i’d like to

bleed

all over your nice things

drain out my intelligence

so i could

always smile

in the morning

stupid and happy

and i could rhyme

kiss and bliss

right here

smother you in

a virulent, sunny strain

of me

i could affect

the disposition

of the witless and dumb

i could

spend many long hours

impressing

my robotic grins

on the cowering masses

on your dark soul

on our too, too solid flesh

but i will not

 

i burn

much darker

than she

 

i don’t think

this anger is

my greatest flaw

for nature dictates

that you will only love me
